THE LEADERSHIP

Over two decades, DVR & Dr.HS MIC College of Technology has taken strong strides in engineering education thanks to its core leadership team. The rich blend of visionary ideals and missionary enthusiasm, proactive approach to men and matters, and a rare sense of enlightened educational enthusiasm etc., are the qualities that have motivated the MIC Fraternity to achieve what the College has achieved so far. It is the same spirit which would guide them to work in the direction of scaling greater heights in the future.

Dr. Maganti Venkata Ramana Rao Chairman

"Our college has emerged as one of the premier institutions in the region through our relentless efforts in the cause of education. I welcome you to the world of MIC where you will have an opportunity to learn technologies of the future, in the rich academic ambiance typical of MIC. Welcome aboard to enjoy the fruits of holistic education!”

Henry David Thoreau said, “Nothing succeeds like enthusiasm.” The Quality of enthusiasm contains a tremendous power to produce vigor, vitality, and joyfulness. It surmounts adversity and difficulty.

Greatness and excellence in any field is achieved through enriched enthusiasm, meticulous planning, measured steps in the right direction and proactive approach. Banking on success in one field, a few successful people cast a wider net into other areas of expertise. MIC is blessed to have the visionary leadership of Dr. MV. Ramana Rao, an educationist-turned-entrepreneur par excellence who has carried his Midas’ touch into both industry and academia.

His exposure to the industrial and the educational sectors goaded him to establish an institute in the pristine ambience of Kanchikacherla with the sole aim of achieving a symbiosis of industry and education. Truly, his vision met with great success as evidenced in the fact that thousands of our alumni are well-placed in their career and in life.

With a penchant for success and excellence, Dr. Ramana Rao scripted his success story with well-laid out footsteps and became a personification of enthusiasm, perseverance, and success.

Visionaries dream big in life and their missionary enthusiasm and burning desire destroys every obstacle in achieving their visionary goals. Nurturing competent, compassionate, and committed engineers suited to the industrial requirements was the ideal of Dr. Ramana Rao. Led by his lofty ideals and ideologies, the College has gone from strength to strength, and it is bound in the right direction to scale newer heights and cross fresh vistas.

Sri N Srinivasa Rao Vice-Chairman

Henry David Thoreau said, “Nothing succeeds like enthusiasm.” The Quality of enthusiasm contains a tremendous power to produce vigor, vitality, and joyfulness. It surmounts adversity and difficulty.

An educationist by vocation and an entrepreneur by avocation, Sri N Srinivasa Rao, Vice-Chairman has avowed to contribute his experience and expertise to help the students enjoy the fruits of quality education in engineering. He is an able ally to our Chairman in achieving the goals of the institute.

Very few people possess the quality of enthusiasm and zest and MIC is fortunate to have one such dignitary who is ‘fully human and fully alive to the needs of the student community in his years of service in the cause of education.

Sri M Srinivasa Rao DIRECTOR (PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT)

“If you have the desire to achieve success in your chosen field, MIC is ready to provide all the facilities to make it happen. We have always been committed to helping the student community travel in the way they have always wanted to go. Welcome to MIC to chase your dreams and pursue your passion!”

Shiv Khera, one of the greatest motivational speakers and authors, reiterates that winners don’t do different things, they do things differently. Obstacles in the pathway of the weak become stepping stones in the pathway of the strong as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru would put it, “Success comes to those who dare and act”.

For any endeavor to be successful there must be people who do planning at an intellectual level and there are others who execute the plan at the grass-root practical level. Very rarely do we find a person who is adept at both planning and execution. Sri M Srinivasa Rao, Director (Planning & Development), is one such quality-conscious person who is raring to go to provide the right infrastructural ambiance on the premises for smooth functioning of the teaching-learning process.
